Pm Abiy held Talks with Russian President

The leaders discussed expanding cooperation in defence and security, trade and investment, education, technology, and cultural exchanges. They also explored opportunities to increase educational partnerships and strengthen people-to-people relations between the two countries.

Climate and development priorities were also on the agenda, with both sides discussing potential cooperation ahead of COP32 and ways to enhance mutually beneficial economic and trade relations.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Ethiopia and Russia to deepen bilateral ties and broaden collaboration across key sectors of mutual interest.
